More Bees...
More bees with some better pictures.
When i gently stroked one of the bees it moved very slowly and lethargically as if being awoken from a long sleep
Pretty quiet apart from that, even the grebe and merganser were not on the lake

Thanks, they actually look like carpenter bees because of the shiny abdomens. Can't see their faces to check if they're white and so males. They are solitary bees regardless and if they've already sealed their nests, wouldn't have any real place to return to anyways. Thanks again. - more input from ALonso
